Robust Construction for Superior Performance
Our Water Blast Hoses are designed with robust construction for superior performance and longevity.
PH280 – WATER BLAST 30 (K)
This series is typically reinforced with four high-tensile steel wire spirals, offering a working pressure of around 1100 Bar (approximately 15950 PSI). It’s suitable for water blasting, water jetting, and general cleaning equipment, as well as for conveying water and water emulsions. The inner tube and cover are made of synthetic rubber, resistant to oil, water, abrasion, weather, and ozone. Operating temperature range is generally -40°C to +90°C.
PH281 – WATER BLAST 40 (K)
Similar to the PH280, the PH281 also features four high-tensile steel wire spirals for reinforcement. It typically offers a higher working pressure of around 1100 Bar (approximately 15950 PSI) for certain sizes, or up to 1250 Bar (around 18125 PSI) depending on the specific model and dash size. Its construction and applications are largely consistent with the PH280, focusing on water blasting, jetting, and cleaning equipment.
The PH282 series continues with a four high-tensile steel wire spiral reinforcement, designed for even higher pressure applications. It typically boasts a working pressure of 1250 Bar (around 18125 PSI) and a burst pressure of 3125 Bar (around 45315 PSI), depending on the specific hose dimensions. Its robust design makes it ideal for demanding water blasting and hydro-demolition tasks.
PH283 – WATER BLAST 50 (K)
Stepping up in performance, the PH283 series is often reinforced with six high-tensile steel wire spirals, providing an even greater working pressure, typically around 1400 Bar (approximately 20300 PSI). This makes it suitable for ultra-high-pressure water blasting, hydro-cutting, and heavy-duty industrial cleaning where extreme pressure is required. Like the other models, it features a synthetic rubber inner tube and an abrasion, weather, oil, and ozone-resistant synthetic rubber cover, with a similar temperature range.
These hoses are engineered for maximum durability and efficiency, reducing downtime and extending service life in diverse industrial environments.
Common Applications of Water Blast Hoses
Water blast hoses are commonly used for:
- Hydro-demolition (breaking up concrete)
- Tank and pipe cleaning
- Heat exchanger cleaning
- Removal of marine growth
- Surface preparation (paint, rust, and corrosion removal)
- Pavement maintenance
- Abrasive jet cutting
- Sewer jetting and drain cleaning
FAQ
Q. What are the key differences between the PH280, PH281, PH282, and PH283 Water Blast Hoses?
A. The primary differences lie in their working pressure capabilities and reinforcement. As you move from PH280 to PH283, the hoses are designed to handle increasingly higher pressures. The PH280, PH281, and PH282 typically feature four high-tensile steel wire spirals, while the PH283 usually incorporates six spirals for ultra-high pressure applications. This allows for suitability in different levels of demanding water blasting and jetting tasks.
